BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION

Allen Parish Police Jury (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

Poplar St. Bridge Replacement

EngineerÕs Project No.: 225003

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Allen Parish Police Jury office located at 602 Court St. Oberlin, LA 70655, and online at Central Bidding (www.centralbidding.com) until November 30, 2026 at 2:00 PM. local time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.

a. Attention of Bidders is called particularly to the requirements for conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the Contract (Davis-Bacon Act), Section 3 (Low Income Resident Participation) of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, Section 109 (Non-Discrimination) of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, Section 503 (Non-Discrimination Against Employees with Disabilities) and Section 504 (Non-Discrimination Against Individuals with Disabilities) of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Segregated Facilities, and all applicable laws and regulations of the Federal government and State of Louisiana and bonding and insurance requirements.

b. Small businesses, minority businesses, womenÕs business enterprises, veteran-owned businesses, labor surplus area firms and/or Section 3 businesses are encouraged to participate.Ê

e. Successful bidder must have an active Unique Entity ID (UEI), as verified on www.sam.gov, prior to award of contract.

The Project includes the following Work:

Bridge Reconstruction, Grading, Class II Base Course, and Asphalt Concrete Pavement

Bids are requested for the following Contract: Allen Parish Police Jury - Poplar St. Bridge Replacement

Prospective Bidders may obtain complete Bidding Documents from www.centralbidding.com. Printed copies are not available from the Project Designer but arrangements can be made to obtain them through most reprographic firms. Plan holders are responsible for their own reproduction costs

A non-mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2026 at 1:30 PM. at Allen Parish Police Jury office located at 602 Court St. Oberlin, LA 70655.
