LEGAL NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Notice is hereby given that the Purchasing Department of the City of Bossier City, Municipal Complex, 620 Benton Road, Bossier City, Louisiana, will receive sealed bids until 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 1, 2026, for P26-10 Wemple & Old Brownlee Intersection Improvements Re-Bid

Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in Council Chambers at 3:00 p.m. during the regular City Council meeting.

In accordance with the Louisiana Public Bid RS: 38:2212 Act No. 590-2008, Contractors shall be provided the option to submit bids for Public Works projects through either a secure electronic interactive system or by submitting a paper bid. Use www.bidnetdirect.com to submit an electronic bid.

Specifications, Plans, and Contract Documents may be obtained from Coyle Engineering Co., Inc., 3925 Benton Road, Bossier City, LA 71111 for $400.00 payable to Coyle Engineering. This is not mandatory and is optional to the contractor.

There will be a Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting held on Thursday, November 12, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. in the Bossier City Engineering Conference Room, 2nd Floor, 620 Benton Road, Bossier City, LA 71111.

Bids must be submitted on the official bid form furnished with the bid package and those submitted otherwise will not be considered.

Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid surety, which may be a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond, for an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, made payable to the City of Bossier City.

An acceptable performance/payment bond equal to 100% of the contract price will be required of the successful bidder as well as a 24-month 10% maintenance bond.

On any bids submitted in the amount of $50,000 or more, the Contractor shall certify that he is licensed under Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:2150-2163 and show his license number on the bid and on the envelope in which it is submitted.

The City of Bossier City reserves the right to reject any/all bids.
