The Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Calcasieu Parish Sheriffs Office of Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana, does hereby advertise for sealed Request for Performance and will open same on:

1. Thursday, November 12, 2026

2. At the Office of the Calcasieu Sheriffs Purchasing Department, in the Archive & Central Supply Facility, 5450 E. Broad St., Lake Charles, Louisiana, 70615, at the hour of 2:00 p.m. C.S.T.

3. For the purchase of avionics upgrade

4. All RFPs must be submitted per the RFP instructions. A paper copy of the RFP may be obtained in the Sheriffs Office Purchasing division in the Archive & Central Distribution Facility or access electronic bidding through https://www.bidnetdirect.com/louisiana/calcasieuparishsheriffsoffice .

5. Preference is given to materials, supplies, and provisions that are produced, manufactured, or grown in Louisiana, quality being equal to articles offered by competitors outside the State.

6. The Sheriff Office reserves the right to reject any and all RFPs for just cause as permitted by LA R.S. 38:2214B. The ability of an Entity to reject any RFP is applicable only when administered in accordance with the Public Bid Law. In accordance with LSA--R.S. 38:2212(B)(1), the provisions and requirements of this Section, those stated in the RFP documents shall not be waived by any entity.

7. RFPs may be held by the Sheriffs Office for a period not to exceed forty-five (45) days from the date of the opening of the RFP for the purpose of reviewing the submissions and investigation of the qualifications of proposers, prior to award.

8. Official action on this RFP will be taken within Forty-five (45) days by the Calcasieu Parish Sheriffs Office.

9. All RFPs must be plainly marked on the outside of the envelope:
