Sealed bids will be accepted at the Union Parish School Board Front Desk, located at 1206 Marion Hwy, Farmerville, LA 71241 until 2:00 PM, November 10, 2026. Bids are schedule to be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:15 PM in the School Board Front Conference Room for the following public work:
UNION PARISH HIGH SCHOOL 2026 WINTER STORM DAMAGE REPAIRS
Arrangements can be made to obtain detailed specifications of the work and other solicitation documents, including addenda, through www.centralbidding.com. All contractors must submit bids for a firm-fixed price based upon the scope of work and solicitation documents. Late bids may be rejected.
A MANDATORY SITE VISIT will be held at 10:00 AM on October 23, 2026 at 1126 Hwy 33, Farmerville, LA 71241. All Bidders interested in submitting a bid are required to attend and examine the site to satisfy themselves concerning existing conditions that may affect performance of the Work.
Bids shall be submitted either by registered or certified mail, or hand-delivery in a sealed opaque envelope with the notation "SEALED BID ENCLOSED". The envelope shall be identified by: the Project Name and Number, the Bid Opening Date, the Bidder's name and address, and the Bidder's Louisiana Contractor's License Number., to the following address:

Bids shall be accepted only from Contractors who are licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192 for the classification of BUILDING CONSTRUCTION. Contractors and subcontractors must not be suspended, debarred, or otherwise excluded from participation in federally funded transactions.
The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond, a Payment Bond and insurance as required by the School Board.
The School Board anticipates seeking reimbursement in whole or in part with federal financial assistance provided through FEMA. The procurement and resulting contract will therefore be subject to applicable federal procurement requirements, including the requirements of 2 C.F.R. Part 200, Appendix II to Part 200, including the Davis Bacon Act.
The School Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids; waive formalities; request clarification or additional information; cancel the solicitation; negotiate, reduce or modify aspects of the work; and award the contract in the manner determined to be in the School Board's best interest, consistent with applicable law and federal procurement requirements.
