RONNY G. BEARD MEMORIAL STADIUM LIGHTING PROJECT

Sealed bids will be accepted by the Claiborne Parish School Board 415 E. Main St., PO Box 600, Homer, Louisiana 71040, until 10:00 AM CST on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud in the Board Room for the following public work: RONNY G. BEARD MEMORIAL STADIUM LIGHTING PROJECT

Complete Bid Documents may be obtained electronically from the following website: centralauctionhouse.com. Printed copies are not available from the Designer or Owner, but arrangements can be made to obtain them through most reprographic firms by emailing: Joey Guillory at jguillory@cpsb.us. Bidders are responsible for all reproduction costs and/or fees associated with the use of the website. Only firms that are licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192 shall be eligible to obtain Bid Documents.

A MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE WILL BE HELD at 10:00 AM on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at RONNY G. BEARD MEMORIAL STADIUM LIGHTING PROJECT, 1008 N. Main St., Homer, LA 71040. All Bidders interested in submitting a bid are required to attend.

Bids may be submitted either by registered or certified mail, hand delivery, or electronically at centralauction house.com. If submitted by mail or hand-delivery, bids shall be submitted to the following address:

Bids mailed or hand-delivered shall be in a sealed opaque envelope with the notation “SEALED BID ENCLOSED”. The envelope shall be identified by: the Project Name and Number, the Bid Opening Date, the Bidder’s name and address, and the Bidder’s Louisiana Contractor’s License Number. Bids shall be accepted only from Contractors who are licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192 for the classification of ELECTRICAL. Bidder is solely responsible for proper delivery of its bid. Bids failing to complying with this paragraph or received after the aforementioned deadline date and time will be rejected.

All bids shall be accompanied by bid security in an amount of five percent (5.0%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond. The form for these bonds shall be as stated in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bid Documents for this Project.

This bid is let in accordance with the Louisiana Public Bid Law, La. R.S. 38:2212 et. seq. The provisions and requirements of the Public Bid Law and those stated in the Bid Documents shall not be waived.

Bidders may submit bids using brand named products or equivalent alternative products in compliance with Section 2.4 of the Instructions to Bid and the Public Bid Law. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after receipt of bids, except under the provisions of LA. R.S. 38:2214. Liquidated Damages shall be assessed at $250 per day pursuant to the Contract Documents.

This project is funded with funds received through the Louisiana Public Service Commission. All terms of grant shall apply to any contract for construction. Contractor must comply with all required federal, state, and local laws, requirements, and procedures.
