NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The Village of Harrisonburg, Louisiana, will receive sealed bids for the purchase of an excavator. All bids must meet the specifications contained in the official bid packet.

Bid specifications and forms may be obtained from the Village of Harrisonburg Town Hall, 108 Sicily Street, Harrisonburg, Louisiana, during regular business hours; by calling 318-744-5794; or online at villageofharrisonburg.com/bid.

Sealed bids must be clearly marked: “STREET-MAINTENANCE EQUIPMENT BID”

Bids may be delivered or mailed to: Village of Harrisonburg, P.O. Box 658, Harrisonburg, Louisiana 71340

Bids must be received in office, no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, October 12, 2026. Bids received after the stated deadline will not be accepted.

Properly submitted bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, October 12, 2026, at the Village of Harrisonburg Town Hall, 108 Sicily Street, Harrisonburg, Louisiana.

The Village may award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid meets the applicable specifications. The Village of Harrisonburg reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities as permitted by law, and accept the bid determined to be in the best interest of the Village, in accordance with applicable Louisiana law.
