NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Notice is hereby given that the Vernon Parish Police Jury, PO Box 1548, Leesville, LA 71496, will receive sealed bids until Monday, October 5, 2026 at 10 a.m. Bids will be opened publically and read aloud; bids received after the specified closing time will not be accepted. All interested parties are welcome to attend the bid opening. Bid specifications may be viewed online and bids may be submitted online at www.centralbidding.com.

Specifications may be obtained from the Vernon Parish Police Jury, 300 S. 3rd St., Leesville, Louisiana 71446, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday Friday, by calling 337-238-0324 or emailing belinda@vppjla.com.

Bid envelopes MUST be sealed and marked on outside with company name, item being bid, and date and time of bid opening. Failure to seal and mark bid envelopes correctly will result in your bid being rejected.

The Vernon Parish Police Jury reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause in accordance with R.S. 38:2212 & 2214.

Equipment to be bid:

1. One (1) Komatsu D65PX-18 Dozer or its equivalent.

2. One (1) 2025 HX620 SBA International Dump Truck (16 yards), or its equivalent.

3. One (1) 2026 HX620 SBA International Dump Truck (19 yards), or its equivalent.

The Vernon Parish Police Jury reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause, in accordance with R.S. 38:2212 & 2214.
