PUBLIC NOTICE - - - ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CITY OF DEQUINCY ("Owner") hereby solicits sealed bids for the AIRFIELD DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS-PHASE II project: STATEMENT OF WORK: The Project comprises construction of drainage improvements including culvert installation, ditch restoration, earthwork, and erosion control measures. PROJECT DURATION: 90 Calendar Days BID SUBMITTAL: Sealed Bids shall be addressed to the CITY OF DEQUINCY, ATTENTION: CITY CLERK, and delivered to 300 North Holly Street, DeQuincy, Louisiana 70633, or submitted electronically through www.civcastusa.com no later than 1:00 p.m. (local time) on Thursday, July 9, 2026, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after that time will not be considered. PRE-BID MEETING: A Non-Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at the DeQuincy Industrial Airpark Terminal Building located at 100 Airpark Drive, DeQuincy, LA 70633. OWNERS RIGHTS: The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause; such actions will be in accordance with Title 38 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes. BIDDING DOCUMENTS: In accordance with LA R.S. 38:2212(A)(1)(b), the provisions and requirements stated in the Bidding Documents shall not be waived by any entity.
