ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Notice is hereby given that:

The Ward 5 Fire Protection District of Evangeline Parish

Will accept bids for: Form/Pour/Finish a 23’ x 79’6” concrete pad to be located on our property at: 4383 US Hwy 167N, Ville Platte, LA 70586

To be built according to specifications provided by Ward 5 FPD of Evangeline Parish

Sealed Bids will be received by the owner until 2:00pm local time on the 12th of May 2026. They may be mailed to the above address or hand delivered. Bids will be publicly opened at 6:00 pm local time at the districts scheduled board of commissioners meeting at the Turkey Creek Fire Station, 1084 Cedar Lane, Ville Platte, LA 70586.

Any bid received after the specified time and date will not be considered

The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond written by a company licensed to do business in the State of Louisiana in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount.

No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the receipt of bids.

The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informality thereto, in accordance with LA Revised Statute Title 38.
