Notice is hereby given that by virtue of a Writ of Seizure and Sale issued in the hereinabove entitled and numbered cause I have seized and taken into my possession and will offer for sale and sell for cash, ***WITH*** appraisement, to the last and highest bidder, at public auction, at the NATCHITOCHES PARISH COURTHOUSE, 200 Church Street, on the First Floor in the hallway just outside the doorway of the Sheriff’s Department Civil Office, Natchitoches, Louisiana, between the legal sale hours commencing at 10:00 A.M. on WEDNESDAY, ***February 4,2026*** ,the following described property, to wit:
“ A certain tract of land together with all buildings and improvements located thereon, located and situated in Section 14, Township 11 North, Range 7 West, Natchitoches Parish, Louisiana, and being more fully shown on a plat of survey by Robert Lynn Davis, P.L.S. dated June 19, 2000, a copy of which is recorded at Map Slide 539A of the records of Natchitoches Parish, and being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at Point 2 on a survey for Robert L. and Minnie Batts by A.J. Brouillette, P.L.S. dated February 18, 1970 as shown on the above referred to survey, and from said point proceed South 4 degrees 00 minutes, 28 seconds West a distance of 522.76 feet to a point, being the point of beginning of the tract herein described; and from said point proceed thence South 3 degrees 31 minutes, 05 seconds West a distance of 214.98 feet to a point located on the Northern right of way of LA Hwy 9; from said point proceed thence South 53 degrees, 50 minutes, 00 seconds West a distance of 386.64 feet to a point; from said point proceed thence North 34 degrees, 18 minutes, 58 seconds West a distance of 268.09 feet to a point; from said point proceed thence North 65 degrees, 05 minutes, 09 seconds East a distance of 525.35 feet to a point, being the point of beginning, said tract containing 2.329 acres”
ANYONE PURCHASING PROPERTY AT SHERIFF'S SALE IS GIVEN UNTIL 2:00 P.M. ON SALE DAY TO PAY THE FULL PURCHASE AMOUNT BY CERTIFIED FUNDS. BECAUSE FUNDS ARE DUE AND PAYABLE BY 2:00 P.M. ON SALE DAY, ANYONE INTERESTED IN BIDDING MUST SUBMIT A “LETTER OF CREDIT” FROM THEIR FINANCIAL INSTITUTION TO FELICIA WHITE AT THE SHERIFF’S OFFICE PRIOR TO THE SALE.
