(OHL) until 2:00 PM on Wednesday January 14th, 2026, at 1626A Oretha Castle Haley Blvd, New Orleans, LA. 70113, at which time bids for the Odyssey House Tonti Campus Building A Renovations will be opened and publicly read aloud. The Contract Documents have been prepared by MultiStudio 1501 Religious St. Suite A, New Orleans, LA 70130 Bids received after the above time will not be accepted. Any person requiring special accommodation shall notify GCHP through their Project Manager Anna Labadie of the types of accommodation required, not less than seven (7) days before the opening of the bids. All bids shall be submitted in a sealed opaque envelope containing only one bid form and the required documents as described in the Instructions to Bidders which is applicable for this project, and bearing legibly on the exterior the following: 1. Tonti Street, New Orleans, LA 70119, for not more than five percent of the contract price of work to be done, as evidence of good faith of the Bidder. If a bid bond is used, it shall be written by a surety or insurance company currently on the U.S. Department of the Treasury Financial Management Service list of approved bonding companies which is published annually in the Federal Register, or by a Louisiana domiciled insurance company with at least an A- rating in the latest printing of the A.M. Best's Key Rating Guide to write individual bonds up to ten percent of policyholders' surplus as shown in the A.M. Best's Key Rating Guide or by an insurance company in good standing licensed to write bid bonds which is either domiciled in Louisiana or owned by Louisiana residents. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond written as described in the Instructions to Bidders included in the Bid Documents for this project. Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2163 for the classification of the Work specified herein. Bidder is required to comply with provisions and requirements of LA R.S.38:2212 (B)(5). No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after receipt of bids, except under the provisions of LA. R.S. 38:2214. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for cause. In accordance with La. R.S. 38:2212 (B) (1), the provisions and requirements of this Section, those stated in the Advertisement for Bids, and those required on the bid form shall not be considered as informalities and shall not be waived. When this project is financed either partially or entirely with State Bonds or financed in whole or in part by federal or other funds which are not readily available at the time bids are received, the award of this Contract is contingent upon the granting of lines of credit, or the sale of bonds or the availability of federal or other funds. The Owner shall incur no obligation to the Contractor until the Contract Between Owner and Contractor is fully executed. A Mandatory Pre-bid Conference will be held on Wednesday. December 10, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the Project Site located at 1125 N. Tonti Street, Building A, New Orleans, LA 70119. Because the Pre-bid Conference is mandatory, any bids submitted by a bidder not in attendance at the Pre-bid Conference will be rejected by GCHP without being opened.
