PUBLIC NOTICE

The Town of Mamou has introduced an ordinance 03-2025 proposing the sale of property to Zion Travelers Baptist Church.

The property is approximately 1 acre and located on the north side of Zion Cemetery Road and situated in Section 7, T-5-S, R-1-E, Evangeline Parish, Louisiana.

A Public Hearing to seek comment on a proposed ordinance authorizing the sale of this property for the appraised price of $10,000 to Service Zion Travelers Baptist Church will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 6 p.m.

The Public Hearing will be in conjunction with the regular meeting of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the Town of Mamou and will take place at the Town Hall Meeting Room at 625 Sixth Street, Mamou, LA 70554.
