The meeting was called to order by Mayor Braxton 8:10 am.
Present was Mayor Braxton, Councilman Shanita Grayson and Councilman Scheryl Kelsey.
Ordinance No. 110 for Amending the July 1, 2024- June 30, 2025 Budget Councilman Kelsey motioned for the ordinance to be adopted and second by Councilman Grayson. 2 Yays, 0 Nays, and 1 absent.
Ordinance No. 111 Adopting the July 1, 2025 - June 30, 2026 Budget. Councilman Kelsey motioned for the ordinance to be adopted and second by Councilman Grayson. 2 Yays, 0 Nays, and 1 absent.
Resolution No 141 Authorizing Pay Increase For Clerk Ruth Smith Councilman Grayson motioned for the resolution to be accepted and second by Councilman Kelsey 2 Yays, 0 Nays, and 1 absent.
Resolution No. 142 Authorizing Mayor Braxton to secure a contract phone for the Chief of Police. Councilman Kelsey motioned for the resolution to be accepted and second by Councilman Grayson 2 Yays, 0 Nays, and 1 absent.
Resolution No. 143 for AUTHORIZING LEGAL REPRESENTATION FOR THE VILLAGE OF CLARENCE IN MANERS RELATED TO META TRAFFIC.
Councilman Grayson motioned for the resolution to be accepted and second by Councilman Kelsey 2 Yays, 0 Nays, and 1 absent.

Ordinance No. 110 of 2025
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE BUDGET FOR THE VILLAGE OF CLARENCE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2024 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2025
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the Village of Clarence adopted a budget for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2024, and ending June 30, 2025; and
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to amend the said budget to reflect changes in expenditures and appropriations to ensure the proper functioning of the Village government;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE VILLAGE OF CLARENCE, STATE OF LOUISIANA adopt the amended budget for the VIllage of Clarence for the fiscal year July 1, 2024, through June 30, 2025.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the board of Alderman, in a regular and legal session convened this 29th day of June 2025 that they do hereby authorize, fully support, and adopt as law Ordinance No
