By virtue of the authority vested in me by the State of Louisiana, I will sell at the principal front door of the City Hall in Mamou, Louisiana, beginning at 10:00 o’clock a.m. WEDNESDAY, SEPT. 24, 2025 and continue each day succeeding until sales are completed, all movable and immovable property on which taxes are now due the Town of Mamou, Louisiana, to enforce collection of taxes assessed for the year 2024 from the first day of January, 2024 at the rate of 12 percent per annum, until paid and all cost incurred on the collection thereon.
The names of said delinquent taxpayers, the amount of taxes due by each on the assessment of said year, and the movable and immovable property assessed to each to be offered for sale are as follows:

On said day I will sell such portions of said property as each debtor will point out and, in case the debtor will not point out sufficient property, will sell the least quantity of said property of any debtor which any bidder will buy for the amount of the taxes, interest and costs due by said debtor. The sale will be without appraisement for cash in legal tender money of the United States, and property sold shall be redeemable any time during three years from the date of recordation of the tax sale by paying the price given, including costs and a 5 percent penalty thereon, with interest at the rate of 1 percent per month until redeemed.
Notice to Mortgage Creditors
The mortgage creditors are hereby notified that if the property to be sold is not redeemed, the sale thereof when recorded in the Conveyance and Mortgage Office shall operate as a cancellation of all conventional judicial mortgages thereon.
