PUBLIC HEARING
The records of the Calcasieu Parish Tax Assessor and/or Calcasieu Parish Clerk of Court disclose that the following are the owners of, or has interest in the referenced improvements, structure or structures as follows:
Aaron Toups et ux, is the owner and has an interest in referenced improvements, structure or structures (one house) on property located on 5533 LeJeune St, Ward W3, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana, (CDM-0425-0043), Parcel # 00500518.
Lloyd F Fruge, is the owner and has an interest in referenced improvements, structure or structures (one accessory building) on property located on 600 Hackberry St, Ward W3, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana, (CDM-1124-1086), Parcel # 00069094.
Stanley Lee Lewis et ux, is the owner and has an interest in referenced improvements, structure or structures (one manufactured home and one accessory building) on property located on 5622 LeJeune St, Ward W3, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana, (CDM-0425-0042), Parcel # 00083690.
Carla M Rousseau, is the owner and has an interest in referenced improvements, structure or structures (one manufactured home and one accessory building Lot 116) on property located on 8559 Gulf Hwy Lot 116, Ward W3, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana, (CDM-0325-0034), Parcel # 01358118.
Dwayne Broussard et ux c/o Julia Broussard, is the owner and has an interest in referenced improvements, structure or structures (one manufactured home Lot 230) on property located on 8559 Gulf Hwy Lot 230, Ward W3, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana, (CDM-0325-0033), Parcel # 01351010C.
Michael A Fountain et ux, is the owner and has an interest in referenced improvements, structure or structures (one manufactured home Lot 243) on property located on 8559 Gulf Hwy Unit Lot 243, Ward W3, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana, (CDM-0325-0032), Parcel # 01364333.
Connie Sue Russell Blair et al, is the owner and has an interest in referenced improvements, structure or structures (one house) on property located on 5852 Pete Seay Rd, Ward W4, Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana, (CDM-0425-0044), Parcel # 00156949.
revealed that the structure or structures located on the above referenced properties have been found to be unsafe, unsanitary and dangerous to human life due to inadequate maintenance, dilapidation, and abandonment. Therefore, in accordance with the Calcasieu Parish Code of ordinances, Chapter 6, Article II, Ordinance Nos. 2539 and 3169, the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury has directed me to serve you notice to show cause at a meeting of the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury as to why the improvements located on the above referenced properties should not be condemned. The meeting will be held at 5:45 PM, Thursday, July 3, 2025, in the Police Jury Meeting Room of the Parish Government Building at 1015 Pithon Street in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Please be advised, a condemnation order is final unless appealed within ten (10) business days following the public hearing.
Should you decide to remove the improvements prior to the public hearing, a demolition permit is required and may be obtained through the permit office.
