POSITION NOTICE

The Allen Parish School Board is seeking person(s) to fill the following position:

Fairview High School Principal

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

1. A valid Type A, Type B, or Level 3 Louisiana Teaching Certificate with a MasterÕs degree or higher or completion of a Practitioner/Residency Leader Program;

2. Louisiana certificate must show endorsement as Principal, Provisional Principal, Elementary Principal, or Educational Leader;

3. Must have three (3) years of successful teaching and/or administrative experience during the five (5) year period preceding appointment to principalship;

4. Administrative experience is preferred and

5. Such alternatives to the preceding qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.

SALARY: According to Allen Parish School Board Salary Schedule

STATUS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 - Months
