Notice to aerial pesticide applicators and private individuals

The Iberia Parish Mosquito Abatement District intends to solicit assistance from the Department of Defenses Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) program. The assistance will include the application of public health pesticides via aerial application over portions of Iberia, Cameron, Calcasieu and Vermilion Parishes. There is no funding for these operations without the assistance of the USAFR unit. The spraying dates are expected to be during the month of September 2025. Aerial applicators or private individuals who have questions or who wish to voice opposition to military assistance for this project may contact, Herff Jones, Director of Iberia Parish Mosquito Abatement District or via email at hjones@iberiagov.net no later than fourteen (14) days after publication of this notice. Individuals not filing comments within the time frame noted will be considered to have waived their objections to military assistance for this project.

The cost of this notice is $94.80.
