NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS

In accordance with Section 5-02(a) of the Home Rule Charter, the Terrebonne Parish Council has scheduled public hearings on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at *6:30 p.m. in the Terrebonne Parish Council Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, 8026 Main Street, Houma, LA, which shall be live streamed on the Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Governments Facebook page. The purpose of the hearing is to obtain public input on the proposed documents that are being published by titles below:

An ordinance to amend the zoning map of the Parish of Terrebonne so as to Rezone from R-1 Single-Family Residential to R-2 Two-Family Residential, 1141 Roussell Street, Houma, Louisiana; Tai Raymond; applicant.

An ordinance to amend the zoning map of the Parish of Terrebonne so as to Rezone from R-1 Single-Family Residential to C-2 General Commercial, 7401 Park Avenue, Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana; Richard Real Estate and Management, applicant.

An ordinance to adopt millage rates for tax year 2025 with no roll forward.

An ordinance to amend the 2025 Adopted Operating Budget and 2025 5-Year Capital Outlay Budget of Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government for the following items:

I.FEMA-Dunn St. Downtown Culvert Replacement, $525,000

II.Airbase Park, $250,000

III.Hollywood Road Roundabout at Valhi Blvd, $250,000

IV.Schriever Overpass, $250,000

V.Main Project Road, $250,000

VI.Houma Police Department JAG, $16,744

An ordinance to Authorize the Lease of Property Located at 7842 Main Street, At the Corner of Main, Church and Belanger Street, Houma, Louisiana, 70360, Parcel #19175, From Property Owners(s); Authorize the Parish President to Execute Any and All Documents Necessary to Lease Property, and to Provide for Other Matters Relative Thereto.

An ordinance to amend Article II, Chapter 18 of the Terrebonne Parish Code, Section 18-30, to prohibit vehicles over fifteen tons on East Woodlawn Ranch Road and West Woodlawn Ranch Road.

An ordinance to Authorize the Parish President to Execute a Cooperative Endeavor Lease Agreement on Behalf of Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government between TPCG and Bayou Region Arts Council to Lease Space in the TPCG-Owned Building at 7910 Main Street, Houma, LA 70360.

An ordinance to enact Article 1, Chapter 18 of the Terrebonne Parish Code, Section 18-10, to create regulations for private street signage.

An ordinance to amend Article IV, Chapter 18 of the Terrebonne Parish Code, Section 18-88, to create a three-way stop at the intersection of Regency Lane and Regal Row.
