Total Units: 20 New Construction Units (Elderly) – 1 Bedroom Units

Retirement Cottages of Ruston, L.P. is pleased to propose a gated retirement community development which will be new construction and named Retirement Cottages of Ruston . The development is classified as elderly housing and will have 20 one-bedroom units. The development will consist of a community facility and supportive services which will be available for the tenants. The applicant is applying for a reservation of 9% LIHTC’s from the Louisiana Housing Corporation.

The total estimated development cost is $4.9 million. The development will be funded with private financing and equity proceeds from the sale of Low-Income Housing Tax Credits and other financing provided as follows (Amounts are estimated):
