ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The Sabine Parish Police Jury will accept sealed bids until 10:00 a.m., May 2, 2025, at the Police Jury Office in the Sabine Parish Courthouse, 400 S. Capitol Street, Room 101, Many, Louisiana 71449 for a new dump truck. At that time, the sealed bids will be opened and publicly read aloud. The bids will then be presented to the Police Jury during its next meeting, at which time they will be reviewed for award.

Sealed bids must be either hand delivered for a receipt or mailed as certified mail, with a return receipt requested. Bids may also be electronically submitted through Central Bidding from Central Auction House at: https://www.centralauctionhouse.com/Category/10702/SabineParishPoliceJury.
BID FORM-BID ENVELOPE
Bidder should bid on bidder's letterhead, with bid signed by bidder's representative. The sealed bid envelope should be plainly marked "Sealed Bid" showing the bidder's name, bid opening date and time and "Dump truck".
REJECTION OF BIDS
Any bid received after the bid closing time will be returned unopened. The Police Jury reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids.
GENERAL
The specifications herein state the minimum requirements of the Sabine Parish Police Jury. All bids must be regular in every respect. Unauthorized conditions, limitations, or provisions shall be cause for rejection. The Sabine Parish Police Jury may consider as "irregular" or "non-responsive", any bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with the bid documents and specification, or any bid lacking sufficient technical literature to enable the Sabine Parish Police Jury to make a reasonable determination of compliance to the specifications. It shall be the bidder's responsibility to carefully examine each item of the specifications. Failure to offer a completed bid or failure to respond to each section of the technical specifications will cause the proposal to be rejected, without review, as "non-responsive". All variances, exceptions, and/or deviations shall be fully described in the appropriate section; deceit in responding to the specifications will be cause for rejection.
INTERPRETATIONS
In order to be fair to all bidders no oral interpretations will be given to any bidder as to the meaning of the specifications documents or any part thereof. Every request for consideration shall be made in writing to the Sabine Parish Police Jury. Based on written inquiry the Sabine Parish Police Jury may choose to issue an Addendum in accordance with Local Public Contract Laws.
