The Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority West (SLFPA-W) is soliciting bids for the purchase of rip rap, sand, limestone, and clay/embankment material for daily operations as well as during a state of emergency when normal business is or has been interrupted. These events can be hurricanes, levee breaks, high water events, floods, tornados, or any man-made disaster such as an act of terrorism or any other type of emergency or disaster, and they may occur at any time.

A bid package that lists all of the materials necessary is available at 7001 River Road, Marrero, LA 70072, at our website, www.slfpaw.org , or www.centralbidding.com .

All bids must be sealed and marked with company name and bid number 312.

Bids must be received by 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 23, 2025.

An Optional Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 7001 River Road, Marrero, LA 70072.

This is a non-exclusive contract. The contract will be valid for a period of one (1) year beginning July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026.
