Call to order

The board meeting for Lafourche Parish Fire District #6 was held on Thursday, December 12, 2024 at 6:00 p.m. at St. John Volunteer Fire Department Training Center. Meeting was presided over by Stephen Lindleyy as chairman.

Pledge of Allegiance to the flag Was led by Brad Robichaux

New Business:

Brad handed out the 2024 budget and the amended 2024 budget due to the selling of the tanker truck. Motion was made by Buffy and second by Brad. There was no public comment. The motion carried as follows: Brad??yes Buffy??yes Regan??absent Kent??absent Stephen??yes

Brad handed out the proposed budget for 2025. This budget needs to be turned in by December 15, 2024. A copy of the 2025 Budget will be given to the St. John Volunteer Fire Department so they can make their budget accordingly. A motion was made by Buffy and second by Stephen. The election of officers for the 2025 was held and the results are: (there was not public comment) President??Stephen Lindley Vice President??Kent Templet

Secretary-Buffy Borne Treasurer-Brad Robichaux Board Member-Regan Sampey PUBLIC COMMENTS: There was no public comment.

ADJOURNMENT: Since there was no further business to discuss, a motion was made by Brad to adjourn the meeting. The motion was seconded by Stephen and passed unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 6:12 P.M.
