The Bienville Parish Fire Protection District 7 Board met in a regular public session on September 12th, 2024 at 7 p.m. in BPFD 7 classroom located at 16332 La Hwy 4, Bienville, La. (Friendship)

Call to Order: Bennie Martin

Pledge led by: Bennie Martin

Prayer led by: Bennie Martin

Roll Call: Stephen Brown, Rita Plunkett, Bennie Martin, Doug Latimer, and Lucious Jefferson Jr. Stephen Brown was absent.

Approval of Agenda: Rita Plunkett made a motion to approve agenda and all members approved.

Approval of previous meeting minutes: Motion was made by Rita Plunkett to approve the minutes from the previous meeting minutes and all members approved.

Financial Report: Motion was made by Doug Latimer to approve the financial report and to pay all bills and the board approved the motion.

Fire Chiefs Report: Motion was made by Lucious Jefferson Jr. to approve the fire chiefÕs report, and the motion was approved by all members.

Public Comments: (pertaining to agenda items only) No comments.

Old Business: No old business.

Motion was made by Doug Latimer to go into new business and all members approved.

New Business:

1. Adopt the millage rates. (2024) Tax resolution was read by Bennie Martin and a roll called vote was taken. Roll Call: Rita Plunkett yes, Doug Latimer yes, Lucious Jefferson yes, Bennie Martin yes. Stephen Brown absent and did not vote.

Motion was made by Lucious Jefferson Jr. to adjourn the meeting and all members approved the motion.
