Minutes of Meeting

Village of Bienville

September 3, 2024

Present: Mayor Wesley Boddie, Alderman Kevin Brown, Alderman James Kirkham, Alderman Jamie Smith, Clerk Dell Priest, Water Superintendent Mary Ann Brunston and Mrs. Lauren Brown.

Meeting was called to order by Mayor with invocation by the Mayor.

Motion by Alderman Kirkham, seconded by Alderman Brown, to accept the minutes from the previous meeting as published in the official journal, passed 3-0.

Motion by Alderman Kirkham, seconded by Alderman Brown to pay all bills, passed 3-0.

The Mayor presented the council with the proposed millage rate resolution and then opened the meeting for any public comments on the proposed millage rates, with there being no public comments. Discussion was held by the council to leave the millage rate at its current rate.

Motion by Alderman Kirkham, seconded by Alderman Smith, to adopt the proposed millage rate, passed 3-0.

There being no further business, motion by Alderman Kirkham, seconded by Alderman Brown, to adjourn, passed 3-0.
