a. Matt Derham with LAWCO addresses the board regarding the rate increase effective September 1, 2024.

b. Mr. Russ Champagne, Champagne & Company LLC presents the June 30, 2024, audit report to the board.

7. Resolutions.

a. Resolution 09-09-2024, Requesting financial assistance from the State of LA under the FY 2025-2025 capital outlay program. Mayor Clifton

8. New Business.

a. Approve increase in capitalization policy for fixed assets to $1,000.00 as per auditor recommendation.

b. Approve invoice# 10224 to Champagne & Company, LLC in the amount of $22,395.00 for the 2024 audit.

c. Approve payment to Risk Management, Inc. in the amount of $2,191.45 for billing #3 for the renewal of liability coverage.

d. Approve invoice# 1227174 for Acadian Total Security in the amount of $2,344.00 for installation and new camera system at the old fire station.

e. Approve invoice# 771 to Acadian Hydrojet & Softwash in the amount of $550.00 for work performed on Braquet Street.

f. Approve invoice# IN26376 to Copynet in the amount of $1,000.00 for IT work performed in move to old town hall, audit info, and back-ups.

g. Approve quote from VFIS (Special Risk Insurance) for insurance renewal for new fire station. Cost for the upcoming year is $28,146.49, an increase of $2,326.49 from the previous year.

h. Approve quotes for new tires for the LVFD service truck.

i. Discuss home and lot for sales at 104 Railroad Avenue, behind the town hall on Main Street.

j. Approve quote from Interstate Tree Service for $16,000 for tree debris removal at Costa Latiolais property.
