TOSELL PROPERTY AT PRIVATE SALE

NOTICE is given that BRIAN CAMPBELL, Administrator of the Successions of LUKE CAMPBELL and AMELIA JOUBERT CAMPBELL has petitioned this Court for authority to sell the property belonging to the Successions at private sale for the sum of $5,800.00 cash. The property to be sold is described as follows:

A certain lot or parcel of ground, with all improvements, fronting 52 feet on the West side of Arkansas Avenue in Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana, by a depth of 100 feet, and being shown as LOT 4 OF A RE-SUBDIVISION OF BLOCK 17 OF THE COLORADO SOUTHERN ADDITION, shown on a plat of survey by M. J. Goudeau, Jr., dated August 12, 1938, recorded on August 19, 1938, as Act No. 175029 in Conveyance Book S-6, page 591, bounded on the North by Lot 3 (Manuel Savoy); South by Lot 5 (Lawrence Guillory or assigns); East by Arkansas Avenue; and West by Lot 8 (Walter Roberts, Jr.).

Acquired by Luke Campbell, husband of Amelia (Melia) Joubert Campbell, by Credit Sale from Anna Mae Riseman recorded on August 19, 1938, as Act No. 175028 in Conveyance Book S-6, page 589, records of St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.

The municipal address is believed to be 718 Arkansas Avenue, Opelousas, Louisiana 70570.

Any heir or creditor who opposes the proposed sale must file his/her opposition within ten (10) days from the date on which the publication of this notice appears as set forth in C.C.P. Article 3443.
