The committee members present were Don Little, Jasmine Green, and Dr. Terence Vinson. Superintendent Lamar Goree, Attorney Reggie Abrams, and Board members Dottie Bell, Mary Trammel, Barry Rachal, and Jessica Yeates were also present.
1.01 Call to Order(Don Little, Committee Chairman)

1.03 Confirm the Agenda Move to confirm the agenda for the May 7, 2024, CPSB Building, Grounds, and Security Committee Meeting.

1.04 Presentation Mr. Marco Gonzales, CCM of Volkert, Inc. regarding facilities condition assessment
1.05 Facilities/Property Update Patrick Greer gave the current facility and property update
1) Lee Hedges Renovations Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will be held on May 9, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. 2) Considerable storm damage at the Southwood High School weight room facility roof and Northwood stairs to T-Building and tree damage near the baseball area 3) Mineral Lease Proposals regarding property at Summer Grove Elementary
1.06 Listing Agents Report Caddos Listing Agent, Laurel Brightwell, stated interest was shown in E. B. Williams Stoner Hill and Oil City Elementary and an offer of $5,250.00 made for the Whitehall Property.
1.07 Visitors Ms. Jon Glover thanked the board for the conversation regarding the facilities in the district.
1.08 Recommendations The following recommendations were made by staff:
1) Staff recommended a motion by the Committee to the Board to approve a request to the Louisiana State Mineral Board to solicit bids for an Oil and Gas Lease on approximately 12.6 acres of Caddo Parish School property located at the site of Summer Grover Elementary 2) Staff recommended a motion by the Committee to the Board to approve staff to submit a proposal (RFP) for interested parties to submit qualifications for conducting a facilities Condition Assessment which will aid the district in decisions to be made about future right-sizing efforts 3) Staff recommended a motion by the Committee to the Board to approve Purchase Sale Agreement for the Whitehall Property for $5,250.00. The committee was in agreement with the recommendations.
1.09 Adjournment Move to adjourn the May 7, 2024, CPSB Building, Grounds, and Security Committee Meeting.
