The Parish Purchasing Agent, on behalf of the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury, does hereby advertise for sealed qualification statements and will open same on:

1. Tuesday, July 16, 2024.

2. At the Office of the Parish Purchasing Agent on the second floor of the Parish Government Building, 1015 Pithon Street, in the city of Lake Charles, Louisiana, 70601, at the hour of 2:30 P.M., Central Time Zone.

3. For Request-for-Qualifications for Engineering and Technical Services for Flood Mitigation and Structural Drainage Improvement Projects (RFQ-2024-ENG-123) related to FEMA Hazard Mitigation Grant Program funded projects.

4. Request for Qualification documents may be obtained in the Office of the Parish Purchasing Agent in the Government Building, requested via email at purchasing@calcasieu.gov, or accessed via electronic bidding through www.calcasieu.gov.

5. The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury reserves the right to reject any and all qualification statements.

6. The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury shall incur no obligation to the Contractor/Proposer until the Contract between the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury and the Contractor/Proposer is fully executed.

7. Minority owned firms and small businesses are encouraged to participate. Any person with disabilities requiring special accommodations must contact the Parish no later than seven (7) days prior to Request for Qualification opening.

8. All sealed qualification statements must be plainly marked and should contain the following on the outside of the envelope:
