The Local Workforce Development Board #40 (LWDB #40) d.b.a. Acadiana Workforce Solutions, provides direction and oversight of Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) service delivery throughout the Acadian region of Louisiana. Parishes served include Acadia, Evangeline, Iberia, Lafayette, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, and Vermilion. Program Requirements. LWDB #40 is soliciting a vendor(s) for WIOA One Stop Operator, WIOA Title I Adult and Dislocated Worker Programs, and WIOA Title I Youth Program. Interested bidders must have demonstrated experience in the service area(s), and have excellent analytical skills, ability to design/interpret procedures, and comprehend state and federal governmental regulations/grant language. The ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, contract representatives, and team managers will be critical to program success. The successful proposer awarded a sub-award because of this RFP must be prepared to assume responsibility for the direct services no later than October 1, 2024.

Bidders Conference. Will be held on April 12, 2024. Following the bidders conference, questions can be submitted via email to Brenda Foulcard, LWDA #40 Workforce Director at proposal@wib40.org by April 15, 2024. All responses to questions received will be posted on April 19, 2024 at: https://www.acadianaworkforce.org/.

Proposal Instructions. Please submit proposals as soon as possible and no later than 11:59pm CDT (Central Daylight Time), May 2, 2024. Information may be hand delivered/mailed to St. Landry Parish Government, Attention: Stephen Woods, Accounting Department, 118 South Court Street, Opelousas, LA 70570. St. Landry Parish Government is not responsible for any errors of omission or otherwise on the part of the US Postal Service or other carrier regarding proof of mailing.

Proposals received after this date and time will not be considered.
