ADVERTISEMENTS FOR BIDS

The Ward Two Water District will receive separate sealed Bids for the Water System Improvements Office Tank Repair and Repaint, Contract No. 23-1475-37. The work consists of repairing, near-white metal blasting of tank exterior surface, and recoating of exterior surface.

The Ward Two Water District will receive Bids until 2:00 PM local time, February 8, 2024 at Ward Two Water District Office, 30772 Carter Street, Denham Springs, LA 70726. Bids received after this time will not be accepted. Bids will be opened and publicly read aloud immediately after the specified closing time. The outside of the Bid envelope shall be marked with the project title, name and address of the Bidder and current Contractor’s license number.

Complete Bid Documents, including addenda, for this project are available in electronic form and may be obtained from Central Auction House (i.e. Central Bidding) at CentralAuctionHouse.com. Printed copies are not available from the Designer, but arrangements can be made to obtain them through most reprographic firms. Plan holders are responsible for their own reproduction costs.

Note: A General Contractor intending to bid on this project must be registered as a “prime bidder” at the issuing office, Central Auction House. Those not registered as a Prime Bidder at the issuing office will not have their bids accepted at the time of bid opening. Prime Bidders must hold a valid construction license and be in good standing with the State of Louisiana.

Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instruction to Bidders.

Ward Two Water District reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all bids. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within 45 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
