PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning and Zoning Commission of the City of Crowley, Louisiana will conduct a public hearing in the City Court Room at the Criminal Justice Building, 426 North Avenue F (5th Street entrance), on October 31, 2023 at 5:15 p.m. to hear comments/opinions for/against the following items, to-wit:
(1) Proposal for annexation and zone change from R-1, Residential District to C-3, Highway Commercial District of 0.28 acres situated in Section 28, Township 9 South, Range 1 East, Acadia Parish, Louisiana, belonging to Gulf South Pipeline Company LP.
(2) Proposal for annexation and zone change from R-1, Residential District to C-3, Highway Commercial District of 0.486 acres situated in Section 28, Township 9 South, Range 1 East, Acadia Parish, Louisiana, belonging to Anthony Thompson.
(3) Proposal for annexation and zone change from R-1, Residential District to C-3, Highway Commercial District of 11.61 acres situated in Section 28, Township 9 South, Range 1 East, Acadia Parish, Louisiana, belonging to Clarks Lake LLC.
(4) Proposal for annexation and zone change from R-1, Residential District to C-3, Highway Commercial District of 0.69 acres situated in the Northeast Quarter of Section 33, Township 9 South, Range 1 East, Acadia Parish, Louisiana, belonging to Cobalt Blue LLC.
(5) Proposal for annexation and zone change from R-1, Residential District to M-3, Medical Services District of 1.895 acres situated in the Northeast Quarter of Section 33, Township 9 South, Range 1 East, Acadia Parish, Louisiana, belonging to Sabbaghian Properties LLC.
(6) Proposal for annexation and zone change from R-1, Residential District to M-1, Medical Services District of 0.62 acres situated in the Northeast Quarter of Section 33, Township 9 South, Range 1 East, Acadia Parish, Louisiana, belonging to Tri-Parish Holdings LLC.
(7) Proposal for annexation and zone change from R-1, Residential District to M-1, Medical Services District of 0.03 acres situated in the Northeast Quarter of Lot 6 of the PBN Properties Subdivision of the City of Crowley situated in the Northeast Quarter of Section 33, Township 9 South, Range 1 East, Acadia Parish, Louisiana, belonging to GBL Legacy LLC.
(8) Proposal for annexation and zone change from R-1, Residential District to C-3, Highway Commercial District of 4.51 acres situated in Section 28, Township 9 South, Range 1 East, Acadia Parish, Louisiana, belonging to the Acadia Parish Police Jury.
The Public is invited to attend and comment on the application described above. You may submit written comments to the Zoning and Planning Administrator for inclusion in to the public record. Written comment may be submitted to the Planning and Zoning Administrator, P.O. Box 1463, Crowley, LA 70527 or at Crowley City Hall, 425 North Parkerson Avenue, Crowley, LA.
If you wish to challenge the proposed annexation and/or zoning changes of the above-described properties in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing described in this notice or in written correspondence delivered at or prior to the public hearing.
