0005802163 CONDENSED MINUTES OF DUSON REGULAR TOWN MEETING August 15, 2023 A public hearing was held in order to discuss Ordinance 23-596 Extending and Enlarging the limits and boundaries of the Town of Duson in the Parishes of Acadia and Lafayette, Louisiana, and included therein a paved portion of LA Hwy 95 and the area previously identified as the Unincorporated Island Area No. 1 and defining the entire boundaries of the Town of Duson as changed by said addition. Carroll Pepper motioned to adjourn Public Hearing. Seconded by Wade Robin. Yeas: Coby Duhon, Wade Robin, Stephen Hanks, and Carroll Pepper. Absent: Carolyn Richard. Motion carried to adjourn public hearing at 6:05 p.m. Mayor Johnny Thibodeaux called meeting to order. Gerald Credeur led the Pledge of Allegiance. Moment of Silence. Mayor Johnny Thibodeaux welcomed everyone attending the meeting. Wade Robin motioned to dispense with the reading of the minutes of the last regular meeting and to approve as written.
