ACQUISITION OF BANK ASSETS AND ASSUMPTION

OF BANK LIABILITIES

Notice is hereby given that Merchants; Farmers Bank & Trust Company, 501 S. Fifth St., Leesville, La 71446, has made application to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation for consent to purchase certain assets and assume the liability to pay certain deposits of the branch banking office of b1BANK, 500 Laurel Street, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70801, located at 400 S. Fifth St., Leesville, La 71446. Upon the consummation of the transaction, the above-named branch banking office of b1BANK will be maintained and operated as a separate branch banking office of Merchants & Farmers Bank & Trust

Company. It is contemplated all offices of the above-named institutions will continue to be operated following the transaction. Any person wishing to comment on this application is encouraged to submit comments through the

FDICs website at https://www7.fdic.gov/CRA/. Alternatively, comments may filed in writing with the Regional Director of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation at its Regional Office at 600 North Pearl Street, Suite 700, Dallas, TX 75201. Comments must be submitted by July 2nd 2023. Photocopies of information in the nonconfidential portion of the application file will be made available upon request. Any person wishing to comment on this application is encouraged to submit comments through the FDICs website at https://cra.fdic.gov/.
