Notice is hereby given, that by virtue of a WRIT OF SEIZURE AND SALE issued out of the 15th Judicial District Court in and for the Parish of Acadia and to me directed, in favor of the plaintiff in the above numbered and entitled cause, I have seized, and will offer to sell, at public auction, according to law, at the courthouse, at the third floor police jury meeting room, at Crowley, Louisiana, commencing at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday March 15,2023 the following described property of the above mentioned defendant(s), to-wit:
Commence at a corner on the south right of way of Highway 190 and on the line dividing lots 2 and 3 of a partition of part of the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 6, T7S, R2W, LA Meridian, as shown on plat of survey by Norman G. Hutchings recorded at COB A-28, pg. 365, records of Acadia Parish, LA, said corner is henceforth referred to as the point of beginning, thence from the point of beginning, bear south along the line common to lots 2 and 3 for 160 feet, thence bear west parallel with the south right of way of Hwy. 190 for 100 feet, thence bear north parallel with the line common to lots 2 and 3 for 160 feet, thence bear east along the south right of way of Hwy. 190 for 100 feet back to the point of beginning. The aforementioned encompasses 0.367 +/- acre and is part of lot 2 of a partition of part of the northwest quarter of the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 6, T7S, R2W, LA Meridian, Acadia Parish, LA.
Commence at a 5/8” rod found on the South R/W of U.S. Hwy. #190 (approx. 50’ from center) and on the dividing lots 2 and 3 of a partition of part of the NW1/4 NW1/4 NE1/4 of Section 6, T7S-R2W, Louisiana Meridian, as shown on plat of survey by Norman G. Hutchings recorded at C.B. A-28, page 365, records of Acadia Parish, Louisiana, thence bear S 1 ° 14’ 07”W along the line common to lots 2 and 3 for 160’ to a 1/2” rod, thence bear N88°18’48”W for 90’ to a 1/2” rod set that is henceforth referred to as the point of beginning.
Thence from the point of beginning continue N88°18’48”W for 10’ to a 1: pipe found, thence bear N1°14’07”E for 160’ to a spike nail found in a sweet gum tree, thence bear S88°18’48”E along the south R/W of U.S. Hwy. #190 for 10’ to a 1/2” rod set, thence leaving said R/W bear S1 ° 14’ 07”W for 160’ back to the point of beginning.
The aforementioned closed traverse positions a 10’ access easement for ingress and egress across part of lot 2 of a partition of part of the NW1/4 NW1/4 NE1/4 of Section 6, T7S-R2W, Louisiana Meridian, Acadia Parish, Louisiana. It is shown on plat of survey by Stephen Barrett Gremillion dated June 1, 2006 and is attached hereto.
