The Louisiana Department of Culture, Recreation & Tourism-Office of State Parks (DCRT-OSP) is accepting proposals on or before the 10 th of February 2023, at 4:30 PM, for the purpose of entering into a Cooperative Endeavor Agreement with the DCRT-OSP in order to provide and maintain a semi-permanent store including the sewer, water, electricity, all local, state, and federal building requirements and to offer park visitors items such as camping goods and supplies, fishing supplies, food items, drinks, pet supplies, and refreshments at Bogue Chitto State Park in Franklinton, LA. Said proposals should be inclusive of but not necessarily limited to the following information:

(a) Name of organization/business;

(b) Identity of owners/principals;

(c) Years in operation;

(d) Experience of business;

(e) Current location/address and mailing address;

(f) General description of your business model;

(g) Description of inventory that will be sold at the store;

(h) Description of services/amenities provided;

(i) Website, social media offerings, advertisements, promotions;

(j) Point of Sale system used, type of monthly sales and inventory reports;

(k) Good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State;

(l) Proof of insurance requirements – (1) Workers’ Compensation: minimum of $1M (per accident/disease/employee); (2) Commercial General Liability: minimum limit per occurrence of $1M and a minimum general annual aggregate of $2M; (3) Automobile Liability: minimum of combined single limit per accident of $1M (must cover third party bodily injury and property damage liability for owned, hired and non-owned automobiles;

(m) Proposed schedule of when the store will be stocked and opened to the general public including days and hours of operation;

(n) Proposed revenue share with the DCRT-OSP;

(o) Projected annual revenue stream;

(p) Desired duration of cooperative endeavor agreement; and

(q) Any additional information considered relevant to selecting a vendor.

Within the Cooperative Endeavor Agreement, the parties will have a right to use the property for the occupation and reasonable maintenance (e.g., removing and disposing any trash/debris/garbage and/or other discarded/unused objects) on a mutually agreed upon tract of land at Bogue Chitto State Park, located in Washington Parish, Louisiana.
