Jefferson Council on Aging, Inc. Public Notice
General Membership Meeting
The General Membership Meeting of the Jefferson Council on Aging, Inc. (JCOA) will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at The Four Columns, 3711 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana. The Agenda for the meeting will include the election of Board members and the Chairmans Report.
Nominations will be accepted from the floor. Please note that in order for a nomination from the floor to be accepted, a Biographical Nomination Form and Board of Directors Agreement and Disclosure must be completed and submitted to the Jefferson Council on Aging, Inc. at least ten (10) days prior to the Annual Meeting. Contact Renee Schober at (504) 207-4141 or rschober@jcoa.net for nominating instructions and to obtain the above mentioned forms.
The Board of Directors will meet at the conclusion of the general membership meeting. The agenda includes the election of officers and other business that may come before the Board.

Persons interested in becoming a member of JCOA are encouraged to complete a Membership Application at any senior center in Jefferson Parish. Please note that in order to vote at the General Membership Meeting, you must be a registered member on or before Friday, January 6, 2023.
