VILLAGE OF QUITMAN

MONTHLY COUNCIL MEETING

April 3, 2022

The Village of Quitman Council of Aldermen met April 3, 2022 for the regular business session. Present were Mayor Joe Vail, Council members Brian Burns, and Tay Williams. Kristi Greer was absent. James Trull led the invocation. Tay Williams led the Pledge of Allegiance. Alayna Huckaby from Kenneth Folden, CPA office was present. Mayor needed approval of minutes from last meeting. James Trull made motion to approve minutes. Brian Burns seconded. Motion carried. Approval needed for financial report. Brian Burns approved financial report. James Trull seconded. Motion carried. Mayor asked for approval to pay monthly bills. James Trull made motion. Brian Burns seconded. Motion carried.

Old Business:

Public Works Report – Brooks Chapel Rd boil advisory cleared.

New Business:

MML&H nothing to report at this time. Alayna Huckaby from Kenneth Folden CPA was present for any question on audit. She explained any question that needed to be answered. Mayor stated the booster pump lines have been ran. Pump is not installed yet. James Trull motion to adjourn. Brian Burns seconded. Motion carried. Next meeting will be May 3, 2022 at 6:30pm.
