PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT BY VIRTUE OF A WRIT OF SEIZURE AND SALE ISSUED OUT OF THE HONORABLE, THE 27TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT OF LOUISIANA, IN THE ABOVE ENTITLED AND NUMBERED CAUSE AND TO ME DIRECTED, I HAVE SEIZED AND TAKEN INTO MY POSSESSION AND WILL OFFER FOR SALE TO THE LAST AND HIGHEST BIDDER, ACCORDING TO LAW, COMMENCING AT THE LEGAL HOUR OF 10:00 A.M. AT THE PRINCIPAL FRONT DOOR OF THE COURTHOUSE AT OPELOUSAS,LOUISIANA ON WEDNESDAY, THE 17TH DAY OF AUGUST, 2022, THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED PROPERTY, TO WIT:
A certain piece or parcel of land, together with the residence and all other buildings and improvements thereon, fronting 91 FEET on the West side of McNeil Street in the Town of Melville, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana by a depth between equal and parallel lines running in a Westerly direction from said Street 138 FEET and being bounded North, South, and West by the property of E.L. Hagens or assigns and on the East by McNeil Street. Said property being shown on a plat of survey by F.S. Robert, Civil Engineer dated March 21, 1951, and made a part hereof by reference thereto.

A certain piece or parcel of ground, together with all improvements situated thereon and belonging thereto, located in the Hagen Subdivision of the Town of Melville, Parish of St. Landry, Louisiana being more fully identified as LOT NUMBER FOURTEEN (14) of the said HAGEN SUBDIVISION measuring 59 FEET width on the West side of McNeil Street by a depth between parallel lines running East and West a distance of 138 FEET and being bounded as follows: North by Melville Street; South by property of Irving Frank Brocato or assigns; East by McNeil Street; and on the West by property of Mrs. Haggens, or assigns; subject to restrictions, servitudes, rights-of-way and outstanding mineral rights of record affecting the property.

CASH WITH BENEFIT OF APPRAISEMENT TO PAY AND SATISFY THE SUM OF FIFTY-TWO THOUSAND, FIVE HUNDRED THIRTY-EIGHT AND 82/100, ($52,538.82) DOLLARS. TOGETHER WITH ACCRUED INTEREST AT THE RATE OF FOUR AND TWENTY-FIVE HUNDREDTHS (4.25 %) PERCENT PER ANNUM THEREON FROM APRIL 1, 2018 UNTIL PAID AND ATTORNEY’S FEES OF TWENTY-FIVE (25%) PERCENT OF THE PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST, AS WELL AS ALL OTHER COSTS OF THIS SUIT.
